EXCLUSIVE: In the Recording Studio With Broadway's Bandstand

The new musical Bandstand, now running at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, celebrated the release of its original Broadway cast album yesterday. With music by Richard Oberacker and a book and lyrics by Robert Taylor and Oberacker, the album features the voices of the musical's stars Laura Osnes and Corey Cott, alongside Tony Award winner Beth Leavel, Alex Bender, Joe Carroll, Brandon J. Ellis, James Nathan Hopkins, and Geoff Packard.

During their time in the recording studio, the cast and creatives offered some insight into the making of the show and how the story of Donny Novitski and his band of war veterans is told on their Broadway stage every night.
