The English National Ballet will conclude its UK tour of Strictly Gershwin at the London Coliseum, January 4-15, 2012.

The production is a dazzling celebration of the sparkling age of Hollywood music and dance. It features music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin, musical adaptation and supervision by Gareth Valentine, design by Roberta Guidi di Bagno, and lighting by Howard Harrison. Among the featured numbers are “Someone to Watch over Me,” “The Man I Love,” “I Got Rhythm,” and “Summertime.”

Prior to the Coliseum engagement, the tour will play the New Theatre in Oxford (October 6-9), The Palace in Manchester (October 12-15), The Mayflower in Southhampton (October 18-22), Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff (October 26-29), The Empire in Liverpool (November 1-5), and the Milton Keynes Theatre (November 15-19).

During its Christmas season, English National Ballet will also be presenting The Nutcracker (December 8-30) at the Coliseum.
