Debbie Reynolds Cancels Three Months of Shows Due to Hospitalization

Tony Award nominee Debbie Reynolds is cancelling the next three months of shows and personal appearances after being hospitalized for an adverse reaction to prescription medication, according to published reports. She is currently at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

The 80-year-old-actress tours the country with her one-woman show, which has played such venues as the Café Carlyle and the El Portal Theatre.

Reynolds received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the revival of Irene. Her other Broadway credits include her one-woman show Debbie and Woman of the Year. She is well known for her many movie appearances, which include Singin’ in the Rain, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, and The Tender Trap.
