Paper Mill Playhouse has announced casting for Jersey Boys, the first show of Paper Mill’s 2024-25 season. Directed by Michael Bello (We Are the Tigers), Jersey Boys will run October 2-November 3 at Paper Mill Playhouse.
The cast will star Daniel Quadrino (Newsies) as Frankie Valli, Ben Diamond (Newsies at TUTS) as Bob Gaudio, Robert Lenzi (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) as Nick Massi, Jake Bentley Young (The Karate Kid) as Tommy DeVito, Nick Duckart (Come From Away national tour) as Gyp DeCarlo, and Jeremy Gaston (Aladdin) as Bob Crewe, with Amber Ardolino, Kelly Belarmino, Holli’ Conway, Hugh Entrekin, Kaitlyn Frank, Nathan Lucrezio, Andrew Martin Maguire, Jarran Muse, Tyler Okunski, and Reagan Pender.
The creative team includes choreographer Kyli Rae, music director Geoffrey Ko, scenic designer Kelly James Tighe, costume designer Julie Thiry, lighting designer Paige Seber, sound designer Megumi Katayama, hair and wig designer Ashley Rae Callahan, and fight and intimacy director Michael Rossmy. Jersey Boys set and props are provided by The REV Theatre Company, Auburn, NY. Original scenic design is by Marshall Pope & Chad Healy.
Featuring a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, the Tony-winning musical Jersey Boys follows the evolution of four blue-collar kids who became Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The songs, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe, include “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” and “My Eyes Adored You.”
