Constance Towers and Jason Graae will star in the Falcon Theater’s production of Richard Alfieri’s two-hander Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, to run October 22-November 23. The production, which will open officially on October 31, will be directed by Arthur Allan Seidelman — who helmed the show’s Broadway outing — with choreography by Kay Cole.
The play focuses on a formidable retired woman who hires an acerbic ex-chorus boy to give her private dance lessons. Their relationship, which begins as hate-at-first sight, develops and deepens over time.
Towers is best known for starring in the 1977 Broadway revival of The King and I and her work as Helena Cassadine on ABC’s General Hospital. Graae’s many stage credits include Falsettos, A Grand Night for Singing, Snoopy!, Ragtime, and The Grand Tour.
