Complete Cast and Creative Team Announced for Ride at the Old Globe

The musical stars Alex Finke and Livvy Marcus.

The Old Globe announced the full cast and creative team for the American premiere of the London musical Ride. Featuring book, music, and lyrics by Freya Catrin Smith, music and lyrics by Jack Williams, and direction by Sarah Meadows, Ride will run March 30-April 28 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage, part of the Globe’s Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

Ride is about Annie Londonderry, the first woman to ride a bicycle around the world. In 1895, Annie and her unwitting secretary Martha share unbelievable adventures across four continents.

The cast features Alex Finke (Come From Away) as Annie and Livvy Marcus (Berkshire Theatre Festival’s Hair) as Martha. Aubrey Matalon (Six the Musical) is the cover for Annie and Martha.

Joining the creative team are choreographer Jennifer Jancuska, scenic and costume designer Amy Jane Cook, lighting designer Jamie Platt, sound designer Andrew Johnson, video designer Matt Powell, illusions designer John Bulleid, orchestrator Macy Schmidt, music supervisor and additional arranger Sam Young, music director Daniel Green, associate director Katharine Quinn, and original choreographer Natasha Harrison.
