The production, which originated at Princeton’s McCarter Theatre, is directed by Ireland’s own Garry Hynes — the first woman to ever win a Tony Award for Best Director, for her work on Martin McDonagh’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane.

It was a busy week for the folks at MTC, who also held their annual Winter Benefit on Monday, January 22. Among that event’s celebrity guests were Law & Order‘s Jesse L. Martin; former Wicked star Kate Reinders; and Tony winner Christine Baranski and director Christopher Ashley, who just recently worked together on MTC’s hit comedy Regrets Only.
