There aren’t many artists whose work fully embodies the essence of Thanksgiving in America the way Samuel Beckett’s does — if family dinners can’t be described as “Theater of the Absurd,” what can? So why isn’t Beckett better represented in that most iconic of Thanksgiving traditions, the Macy’s Parade?
