The Broadway production of Stephen King's Misery kicked off its run at the Broadhurst Theatre on October 22. Written by William Goldman, who also penned the screenplay for the Academy Award-winning film based on King's novel, the suspense thriller is directed by Will Frears and opens on November 15.
Hollywood icon Bruce Willis makes his Broadway debut as novelist Paul Sheldon, alongside stage and screen favorite Laurie Metcalf as Paul's "number-one fan" and captor, Annie Wilkes. Leon Addison Brown completes the company as the local Sheriff.
