Broadway's Jersey Boys Introduces Two New Frankie Vallis

Beginning this week, Mauricio Pérez and Dominic Scaglione Jr. will share the lead role of Frankie Valli in Broadway's Jersey Boys, alternating all performances at the August Wilson Theatre. Joseph Leo Bwarie played his final performance in the role on Sunday, April 24.

Perez, who has previously appeared on the New York stage in Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating, & Marriage and Altar Boyz, takes on the role of Frankie having previously performed as a swing in the Broadway cast. A veteran of the Broadway cast, Scaglione has also played the role of Frankie in the Chicago and Las Vegas companies.

Jersey Boys, a behind-the-music story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, recently celebrated its 10th anniversary on Broadway. Winner of four Tony Awards, including Best Musical, the show is written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and direction by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff.

The current Broadway cast stars Richard H. Blake (Tommy Devito), Matt Bogart (Nick Massi), and Quinn VanAntwerp (Bob Gaudio).
