Broadway Bares has announced that it will return to Fire Island with Broadway Bares Fire Island: Calendar Girl on June 1. The evening will feature two intimate performances at Whyte Hall’s Brandon Fradd Theatre, presented by Fire Island Pines Art Project and produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Broadway Bares marries burlesque with the razzle-dazzle of Broadway and has, since its inception in 1992, become one of BC/EFA’s signature events. Throughout the last 22 editions, the show has raised more than $9.8 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots) is executive producer and creator of Broadway Bares. Michael Lee Scott will serve as director for Broadway Bares Fire Island.
