The Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction will celebrate its 40th anniversary when it returns on Sunday, September 27. The annual outdoor event is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The event takes place across West 44th and West 45th Streets, Shubert Alley, and Times Square, from 10am to 7pm. The live auction begins at 5pm.
There will be more than 60 tables of collectibles from current and recent Broadway and off-Broadway shows, producing organizations, unions, guilds, marketing groups, ticket agencies, concessionaires, and fan clubs.
The silent and live auctions will include costumes signed by Tony Award winners, opening night tickets, behind-the-scenes meet-and-greets, and an exclusive walk-on role on Broadway. Select silent auction items are now available here for online bidding, including prop pieces signed by George Clooney and Leslie Odom Jr. and signed heels worn onstage by Audra McDonald.
The Autograph Table and Photo Booth, located on the deck of Junior’s restaurant in Shubert Alley, will also return. Further details about the Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction, including participating tables and autograph table and photo booth guests will be announced later this month.
