The Broadway at Birdland concert series will present Steven Brinberg as Simply Barbra in 70 Girl, 70! – A Birthday Celebration Concert on Monday, April 23 at 7pm at Birdland.
On the eve of Barbra Streisand’s 70th birthday, renowned impersonator Steven Brinberg celebrates the diva with songs she sang in the 70s. Christopher Denny will musical direct, and there will be special guest stars.
Brinberg has been acclaimed worldwide for his vocal performance of Barbra Streisand. He regularly appears in Symphony concerts with Marvin Hamlisch. He has recorded two CDs and has appeared in several feature films and on television, as well as onstage at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center and on Broadway in the benefit production of Funny Girl.
