The Boston Conservatory will present a concert production of Chess, April 11-13. This production will be directed by Kevin Mark Kline, with music direction by F. Wade Russo and choreography by Michelle Chassé.

With lyrics by Tim Rice, and music by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, Chess tells the story of a romantic triangle involving two players in a world chess championship, loosely based on the characters of Victor Korchnoi and Bobby Fischer.

The cast will include Will Larche as Freddie, Matthew Thompson as Anatoly, Kimberly Suskind as Florence, and Joseph Alicea as Molotov. All performers are students pursuing professional training at The Boston Conservatory. Kline is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory, and his recent credits include the New England premiere of Gorilla Man, The Educated, Off Hollywood & Vine, What Happens In Vegas, and Children of Eden.
