Betsy Wolfe and Shoshana Bean Set for Jason Robert Brown SubCulture Concerts

Brown has also announced plans to host his third annual Post-Tony Extravaganza concert.

SubCulture, a New York City downtown performing arts venue, has announced the special guests set for composer Jason Robert Brown's upcoming concerts at the venue.

On April 24, Brown's guest will be Betsy Wolfe (Waitress), who starred in the off-Broadway revival of his musical The Last Five Years. Then, on May 19, Shoshana Bean (Wicked) will perform with Brown onstage. Finally, on June 12, Brown will host his third annual "Post-Tony Extravaganza" concert, following the 2017 Tony Awards on June 11.

Jason Robert Brown's Honeymoon in Vegas, played at the Nederlander Theatre in 2015. He is also the composer behind the musicals Parade, The Bridges of Madison County, and The Last Five Years. A film version of The Last Five Years, starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan, was released in 2015.

Brown's SubCulture concert series is currently in its third year. Each performance incorporates a mix of material featuring music from throughout his career, along with new works in development. The series has featured an array of special guests, including Kelli O'Hara, Steve Pasquale, Norbert Leo Butz, Tom Kitt, Tony Danza, Laura Benanti, Cynthia Erivo, Tituss Burgess, Lena Hall, and more.
