Rhythmic performance ensemble Be the Groove will present their new production Embrace the Fire at Theatre Building Chicago, August 21-31.
Embrace the Fire explores the rhythms of change in the world through a combination of drumming, movement, body percussion, and spoken-word poetry. The Be the Groove ensemble includes Casey Baker, Daniel Gibson, Daniel Heffner, Jason Hanggi, Jenna Johnson, Kevin Brown, Kevin Durnbaugh, Nicole Pellegrino, Samir Mayekar, Stephanie Paul, and Tarah Ortiz .
Be The Grove will also be performing at the Ravinia Festival, September 7.
