Kenneth Lonergan’s new drama is directed by Neil Pepe.
Atlantic Theater Company has extended its production of Kenneth Lonergan's new play, Hold On to Me Darling, through April 17. Neil Pepe directs the drama, which opened March 14.
Emmy nominee Timothy Olyphant (Justified) plays Strings McCrane, a country-and-western star who begins questioning the meaning of his life upon learning of his mother's death. Determined to abandon his celebrity and career, he moves back to his hometown in Tennessee. It doesn't go well.
The company also includes Adelaide Clemens (The Great Gatsby), Tony nominee Jonathan Hogan (As Is), Jenn Lyon (Fish in the Dark), Keith Nobbs (The Legend of Georgia McBride), and C.J. Wilson (Bronx Bombers).
Hold On to Me Darling features scenic design by Walt Spangler, costume design by Suttirat Larlarb, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt, and sound design by David Van Tieghem.
