Ken Rus Schmoll directs the new drama, which stars Annie Parisse.
Antlia Pneumatica, a new play by Anne Washburn, celebrated its opening night at Playwrights Horizons on April 4. Directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, the production will run through April 24.
The story is described as follows: "In a ranch house deep in Texas Hill Country, a once tight-knit group of friends reunites to bury one of their own. But as they look backward through their lives, it becomes clear they’ve lost more than just their old pal."
The cast features Rob Campbell (All the Way), Nat DeWolf (Betty's Summer Vacation), Crystal Finn (Pocatello), April Matthis (Iowa), Annie Parisse (Clybourne Park), and Maria Striar (A Map of Virtue).
