Spirit of the People premieres next month at Williamstown Theatre Festival.
Additional casting has been announced for Spirit of the People, the new drama by Slave Play scribe Jeremy O. Harris.
Rounding out the company are Amber Heard (Aquaman), Brandon Flynn (Kowalski), and Lio Mehiel (Mutt), who join the previously announced Ato Blankson-Wood, Zachary Booth, James Cusati-Moyer,, Amandla Jahava, Emma Ramos, Julian Sanchez, and Tonatiuh.
Directed by Katina Medina Mora, Spirit of the People has sets by Kate Noll, costumes by Fern Rodriguez Legadoé, lighting by Barbara Samuels, and associate scenic design by Silin Chen.
Owing to nudity in the production, all phones will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. A full description of the production has not been disclosed beyond stating that it “confronts uncomfortable truths about land and what it means to destroy it.”
