Joey Lawrence Joins Havana Heat Film

Former Chicago star Joey Lawrence has joined the cast of the new action film Havana Heat, according to Variety.

The film, to be directed by Dean Hamilton, will also star Wesley Snipes, Michael Dudikoff, Heath Herring, Zulay Henao, Lorena Rincon, Raul Julia-Levy, and Nicholas Brown.

Lawrence currently co-stars on the TV series Melissa and Joey. His previous television credits include CSI:NY, Gimme a Break, Blossom, and American Dreams. He was a finalist on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and toured with the stage version of the show throughout the U.S. and Canada.
