Sting: Live in Berlin CD/DVD Package Set for November Release logo
Sting: Live in Berlin, a CD/DVD package culled from Sting's critically acclaimed world tour Symphonicity, will be released from Deutsche Grammophon/CherryTree Records in the US on November 23, 2010 and internationally, November 26.

The recording features The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by Steven Mercurio, as well as special guest Branford Marsalis. It includes many of Sting's greatest hits, including "Roxanne," "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," "King Of Pain," "Fields Of Gold," all re-imagined for symphonic arrangement.

Musicians on the recording include Dominic Miller (guitarist), Rhani Krija (percussionist), David Cossin (percussionist), Jo Lawry (vocalist) and Ira Coleman (bassist).

Recorded September 21 at the O2 Arena, Live in Berlin was directed and produced by Jim Gable and Ann Kim of Graying & Balding, Inc., in association with Universal Music Classical Management & Productions and Executive Produced by Chris Roberts and Sting's long-time manager, Kathryn Schenker, with music produced by Rob Mathes and Sting and mixed in stereo and 5.1 by Elliot Scheiner and Thom Cadley.

Sting appeared on Broadway in 1989 in 3 Penny Opera. His music was also performed on Broadway in the revue Rock 'N Roll! The First 5,000 Years in 1982. He recently starred in a benefit performance of Twin Spirits, which was presented by the Culture Project at Jazz at Lincoln Center this past summer.
