Noted theater and film composer Stephen Schwartz will perform a song from his Broadway-bound musical Wicked at a benefit for the Lark Theatre Company on Monday, February 10.

The song from the musical spin-off of The Wizard of Oz is titled “The Wizard and I” and it will kick off the evening’s entertainment. Schwartz, who composed such shows as Godspell and Pippin, will be hosting the benefit and is also slated to perform a song from his 1991 musical Children of Eden. The main event of the evening, however, will be a one-night-only performance of the new musical Children’s Letters to God, written by Stuart Hample, David Evans and Douglas J. Cohen, based on the book compiled by Hemple.

Tickets to the benefit are $75 for adults and $35 for children under 16, with special admission tickets — including access to a post show party — available at $150-$500 for adults and $45-60 for children. For information, phone 212-246-2676
