Stage and screen stars Florence Henderson and Shirley Jones are featured on a newly released 33-chapter DVD, Florence Henderson & Shirley Jones: First Ladies of Broadway, that focuses on their early television performances on The Bell Telephone Hour.

Jones' appearances are from episodes of the program seen between 1960-1964 and include performances of songs such as "Out of My Dreams" from Oklahoma!, "Make Someone Happy" from Do Re Mi, and "Till There Was You" from The Music Man. Additionally, there are four numbers where she appears with her then-husband, Jack Cassidy, delivering such tunes as the title song from Gigi and "As Time Goes By."

The selections featuring Henderson date from 1964-1966 and include the title song from Do I Hear a Waltz?, "I Have Dreamed" from The King and I, and "Without You" from My Fair Lady. In addition, Jones performs duets with Gordon MacRae, singing such songs as Rodgers and Hart's "Manhattan." Another song from Rodgers and Hart, "This Can't Be Love," has the singer performing alongside Bobby Troup, Bucky Pizzarelli, and Milt Hinton.
