Off-Broadway's Soho Playhouse Announces New Shows and Schedule Roster
Four new productions will take the stage at the Vandam Street venue.
Soho Playhouse has announced the four new shows that will join its current productions at the Vandam Street venue in Lower Manhattan beginning in March and April.
Joining the current shows — Bill W. and Dr. Bob, This Too Shall Suck, Anagramazon, and Stand Up Against Everything! — will be the following:
Don't Press Charges, Simon Lovell's exploration of his life as an alleged former conman. Starting March 15, performances will take place at 5pm on Saturdays at The Huron Club, Soho Playhouse's cabaret theater.
Renee Phillippi's Extraordinary Extremities, a one-hour play about facing a world full of challenges and changes. Featuring a score by Lewis Flinn, the show is performed and designed by Carlo Adinolfi. Starting April 4, performances will take place at 7pm Fridays through Mondays, with 1pm matinees on Saturdays.
Last of the Knotts, a comedy about playwright Doug Knott's experience as he gets ready to become a father. Starting April 25, performances will take place in The Huron Club at 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Debra Ehrhardt's Jamaica Farewell, which chronicles the playwright/performer's experiences escaping from revolution-torn Jamaica and journeying to America. Joel Zwick directs the play. Starting April 27, performances will take place at 6:30pmon Sundays.
