Margaret Colin, Isabel Keating, Larry Pine, Michael Urie, et al. Set for MCC’s PlayLab Readings

Casting has been announced for MCC Theater’s PlayLab readings, to be held at Baruch Performing Arts Center on Monday nights, October 26-November 9.

Isabel Keating, Polly Lee, Peter O’Connor and Armando Riesco will star in Fluid Love (October 26), written and directed by Anton Dudley. The play concerns a pair of neighbors who are best friends and intensely co-dependent.

Leslie Ayvasian, Louis Cancelmi, Sasha Higgins, Marin Ireland, Chelsea O’Connor, Larry Pine, Matthew Rauch and Michael Urie will be featured in Matthew Stephen Smith’s 7 Ways to Mourn the Dead (November 2), directed by Esther Neff. The work is described as a “darkly funny retelling of the fall of Troy.”

Aya Cash, Margaret Colin and Michael Countryman will star in Kara Manning’s Sleeping Rough (November 9), directed by Wendy McClellan. In the play, a shattered family tries to recover from loss and long-ago regrets.

Admission is free, and audience members will be invited to mingle with the artists at post-performance receptions to be held each night.
