James Gandolfini to Play Bobby Egan in HBO Film

Tony Award nominee James Gandolfini is set to star in an HBO movie to be adapted from the book Eating with the Enemy: How I Waged Peace With North Korea from my BBQ Shack in Hackensack, by Bobby Egan and Kurt Pitzer, according to Deadline.com.


The actor is set to play Egan, owner of a Hackensack rib joint who became involved in back channel negotiations with North Korea to stop producing nuclear weapons.

God of Carnage, and is currently starring in the show’s Los Angeles production. He is best known for his Emmy Award-winning work as Tony Soprano on HBO’s The Sopranos.
