Full Cast Announced for Pippin Concert to Benefit National AIDS Fund

Full casting has been announced for the concert presentation of Pippin that will be held on Monday, November 29 at 7pm in the grand ballroom at the Manhattan Center (311 West 34th Street) in commemoration of World AIDS Day, December 1.

Leading the cast in this performance of the 1972 Stephen Schwartz musical will be Michael Arden as Pippin and Laura Benanti as his love interest, Catherine. The role of the Leading Player, originated by Ben Vereen, will be played by multiple actors including Darius de Haas, Billy Porter, and Kate Shindle. The company also includes Harrison Chad as Theo; Cameron Mathison as Pippin’s step-brother, Lewis; Terrence Mann as Charlemagne; Charles Busch as Berthe; and Julia Murney as Fastrada. Sarah Chase, Kristoffer Cusick, Adam Fleming, Barrett Foa, Sriram Ganesan, Julie Garnye, Jordan Gelber, Kearran Giovanni, Jenna Leigh Green, Colin Hanlon, Cheyenne Jackson, Natalie Joy Johnson, Michael Longoria, Jennifer Malenke, Kate Pazakis, Erin Quill, Randy Redd, Robb Sapp, Marty Thomas, Caitlin van Zandt, and Josh Young will make up the ensemble. The concert will be directed by Gabriel Barre and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler, with musical direction by Mark Hartman.
