The New York Pops has announced that Corey Cott will complete the cast for its 35th birthday gala, Part of His World: The Songs of Alan Menken, on Monday, April 30, at Carnegie Hall.

The Bandstand star will join the previously announced Michael Arden, Roger Bart, Jodi Benson, Ashley Brown, Nick Cordero, Susan Egan, Harvey Fierstein, James Monroe Iglehart, Adam Jacobs, Judy Kuhn, and Patina Miller. All of the performers have played pivotal roles performing and working with Alan Menken; Cott played Jack Kelly in the Broadway production of Disney's Newsies, for which Menken composed the music.

The concert will also feature participants from the New York Pops' Kids on Stage program, which provides middle-school students access to the professional performance process through an audition process, comprehensive rehearsal period, and final performance with the orchestra on the Carnegie Hall stage. The students will perform Steven Reineke's Celebration Fanfare.

The honorary cochairs of the event will include Ashley Brown, Whoopi Goldberg, Jeremy Jordan, Audra McDonald, Tim Rice, and Bernard Telsey.
