Daniel Breaker, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, John Hoffman, and Christina Kirk have joined the cast of Well, the critically acclaimed play written by and starring Lisa Kron. Directed by Leigh Silverman, the production will begin performances at Broadway's Longacre Theatre on March 10 and is set to open officially on March 30.

Well tells the autobiographical story of Kron and her mother, Ann (played by Obie Award winner Jayne Houdyshell), a community activist. It employs an unusual conceit in which the actors, some of whom play numerous roles, actually critique the script while performing it.

Breaker starred Off-Broadway in Lynn Nottage's Fabulation at Playwrights Horizons. Ekulona appeared in the Public Theater production of Well; her other credits include Fabulation, A Streetcar Named Desire at New York Theatre Workshop, and The Plank Project. Hoffman, best known as a writer and director, helmed the Off-Broadway production of Kron's 101 Humiliating Stories. Kirk appeared in the Soho Rep's award-winning production of [sic].

Kron's previous work as an actor and writer includes 2.5 Minute Ride, Brides of the Moon, and the recent Oedipus at Palm Springs, which just received a GLAAD Media Award nomination. She also appeared Off-Broadway in the revival of The Normal Heart and in Paul Rudnick's The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told.
