Anything But Love Screening on October 27 to Benefit MAC Outreach Fund logo
The Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) will host a special benefit screening of the new feature film Anything But Love on Monday, October 27, 7:30pm, at the Loews State Theatre, located within the Virgin Megastore Complex at 1540 Broadway (between West 45th and 46th Streets). The event will benefit the MAC Outreach Fund, which helps bring cabaret singers into schools and community organizations.

Set for release by Samuel Goldwyn Pictures on November 7, Anything But Love stars Isabel Rose and Andrew McCarthy. The film tells the story of a young cabaret singer (played by Rose) who must choose between her dreams and the men in her life; it is set in contemporary New York City and was shot in the style of a 1950s Technicolor musical. The movie also features stage stars Eartha Kitt, Alix Korey, Ilane Levine, Shannon Lewis, and Leslie Bell.

Doors will open at 7pm for the October 27 event. The screening will be followed by a wine and dessert reception attended by Rose, Korey, and other members of the cast and crew. Tickets for the film and reception are $30; phone 212-721-1173 for reservations. For more information about the MAC Outreach Fund, visit
