Actor Dennis Hopper Dies at 74 logo
Actor Dennis Hopper died on Saturday, May 29 from prostate cancer. He was 74 years old.

Hopper appeared on the Broadway stage in the short-lived 1961 play Mandingo, but was best known for his film work, which spanned six decades. His many credits include Rebel Without a Cause, Giant, Easy Rider, Hoosiers, Blue Velvet, True Romance and Speed. He received Oscar nominations for co-writing Easy Rider and for his acting work in Hoosiers.

Hopper's television credits include Paris Trout, for which he received an Emmy Award nomination, 24, and Crash.

He is survived by his fifth wife, Victoria Duffy, their daugher, Galen, and three children from his previous marriages.
