2004-2005 Lucille Lortel Award Nominations Announced

The nominations for the 2004-2005 Lucille Lortel Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievement Off-Broadway, have just been announced. The awards ceremony will be held on Monday, May 2 at Dodger Stages (340 West 50th Street) at 7pm, with a supper to follow at Ruth's Chris Steak House (148 West 51st Street). A cocktail reception for the nominees will be held on April 18 at Ruby Foo's Uptown (2182 Broadway at 77th Street).

The May 2 ceremony will include performances by the nominees for Outstanding Musical and will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Awards. Special honors to be bestowed include the Edith Oliver Award for Sustained Excellence to Frances Sternhagen and the award for Outstanding Body of Work to the Irish Repertory Theatre.

A limited number of tickets for the awards ceremony are available at $65; they will be on sale as of Tuesday, April 5 at the Dodger Stages box office or by calling 212-239-6200. A complete list of the nominees follows:
