A Christmas Carol Announces Cast the McCarter Theatre Center

The Charles Dickens classic returns to the New Jersey Theatre.

McCarter Theatre Center has announced the cast for its production of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol, running December 4-29. Directed by Adam Immerwahr, the play is written by David Thompson, with music by Michael Friedman and choreography by Lorin Latarro.

The production will star Greg Wood as Scrooge, alongside Zeke Edmonds, Anne L. Nathan, Jon Norman Schneider, Sue Jin Song, Greg Wood, Frank X, Paul Deo Jr., Billy Finn, Sharina Martin, Steven Rattazzi, and Kristin Villanueva. The production has scenic design by Daniel Ostling, costumes by Linda Cho, lighting by Lap Chi Chu, sound design by Darron L. West, wig design by Carissa Thorlakson, and special effects by Jeremy Chernick. Cris Frisco serves as musical director.

McCarter's version of Ebenezer Scrooge's magical journey through Christmas past, present, and future combines period-specific music with 21st-century design and special effects. Featuring a cast of professional actors joined by more than three dozen ensemble members chosen from the greater Princeton community, audiences will experience an immersive Dickensian environment from the opening of the theater doors to the final bows.
