The full cast and creative team have been announced for the new musical, Part of the Plan, featuring the music of singer-songwriter Dan Fogelberg. The show will make its world premiere at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, running from September 8-24 with an official September 10 opening.

Directed and choreographed by Tony nominee Lynne Taylor-Corbett (Swing!), the show interweaves 20 iconic Fogelberg songs arranged by Grammy Award winners Victor Vanacore and Laurence Juber, including "Leader of the Band," "Longer," and "Same Old Lang Syne." With a book by the musical's producers Kate Atkinson and Karen Harris, the story spans three decades and follows the lives of an adopted boy and the teenage girl who is forced to give him up.

The cast will be led by Harley Jay (Rent), Kate Morgan Chadwick (Bed), and Nashville artist J.T. Hodges (Academy of Country Music nominee), along with Jayme Lake (I Love Lucy: Live on Stage) and Daniel David Stewart (Deaf West’s Spring Awakening). Rounding out the ensemble will be Chris Roberts, Benjamin D. Hale, Erica Aubrey, Katy Blake, Melinda Porto, Wyatt Rogers, Miles DeMaria, Darian Peer, Euriamis Losada, Megan Murphy Chambers, Joshua Drew Payne, Curt Bonnem, and Kristin Towers-Rowles.

The creative team includes scenic designer Jason Sherwood, costume designer Loren Shaw, lighting designer Jason Kantrowitz, and sound designer Peter Fitzgerald. The production will be under the musical direction of Stephen Kummer.
