Million Dollar Quartet to Make Its LA Premiere at the Pantages Theatre

Million Dollar Quartet is set to have its LA premiere at the Pantages Theatre, June 19-July 1.

With a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, Million Dollar Quartet is based on the occasion when Sam Phillips, the “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley together at the Sun Records storefront studio in Memphis for the first and only time.

The cast will feature Derek Keeling (Johnny Cash), Cody Slaughter (Elvis Presley), Martin Kaye (Jerry Lee Lewis), and Lee Ferris (Carl Perkins) as well as Christopher Ryan Grant (Sam Phillips), Kelly Lamont (Dyanne), musicians Billy Shaffer (Fluke, drums) and Chuck Zayas, Austin Cook, Scott F. Moreau, John Michael Presney, David Sonneborn, Alyssa Marie, and Billy Woodward.

The design team includes Derek McLane (scenic design), Howell Binkley (lighting design), Jane Greenwood (costume design), Kai Harada (sound design), and Chuck Mead (musical arrangements and supervision).
