Next up is Bartlett Sher's production of Brown and Norman's The Bridges of Madison County, running from December 8-January 16. Based on the novel by Robert James Waller, which tells the story of an Iowa farmwife who embarks on a life-changing four-day love affair with a traveling photographer, the production features scenic design by Michael Yeargan, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by Donald Holder, sound design by Jon Weston, movement by Danny Mefford, and Tony-winning orchestrations by Brown, in addition to his Tony-winning score.
Following that, the national tour of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical, will run from March 22-May 1, 2016. With a Tony-winning book by Robert L. Freedman and a score by Freedman and Lutvak, the production is directed by Tony winner Darko Tresnjak and choreographed by Peggy Hickey. The design team includes Alexander Dodge (scenery), Tony winner Linda Cho (costumes), Philip S. Rosenberg (lighting), Dan Moses Schreier (sound), Aaron Rhyne (projections), and Charles LaPointe (wigs). Jonathan Tunick serves as orchestrator.
The season concludes with Titanic - The Musical, running from May 14-June 26, 2016. Directed by Thom Southerland, this stripped-down production originated at London's Southwark Playhouse in 2013, where it received WhatsOnStage and Off West End Awards for Best Production.
