Simon Callow, Rebecca Hall, Sahr Ngaujah, Jenna Russell, et al. Set for Upcoming National Theatre Productions logo

The National Theatre has announced additional details about its programming for the coming months, including complete casting for the previously reported Season's Greetings, which will begin performances on December 1 in anticipation of a December 8 opening. Directed by Marianne Elliot, the company will feature Oliver Chris, Mark Gatiss, Katherine Parkinson, Jenna Russell, Neil Stuke, Catherine Tate, David Troughton, Nicola Walker, and Marc Wootton. The production will be designed by Rae Smith, with lighting by Bruno Poet and sound by Mark Dickinson.

The company has also announced casting for a new devised production of Beauty and the Beast, to run November 24 - January 5. The company will feature Mark Arends, Sian Clifford, Kate Duchêne, Kristin Hutchinson, Sean Jackson, and Justin Salinger under the direction of Katie Mitchell. The production, which has text by Lucy Kirkwood, will be designed by Vicki Mortimer, with lighting by Jon Clark, music by Paul Clark, sound design by Gareth Fry, choreography by Joseph Alford, puppets by Matthew Robins, video by Fifty-Nine Productions Ltd, movement by Joseph Alford, and sound by Gareth Fry.

Complete casting and creative team for Peter Hall's previously reported staging of Twelfth Night will feature Simon Callow (Sir Toby Belch), Marton Csokas (Orsino), Amanda Drew (Olivia), Charles Edwards (Sir Andrew Aguecheek), Rebecca Hall (Viola), and Simon Paisley Day (Malvolio), along with Cornelius Booth, James Clyde, Samuel James, Richard Keightley, Ben Mansfield, David Ryall, Jeffry Wickham, and Finty Williams. The production will be designed by Anthony Ward, with lighting by Peter Mumford, music by Mick Sands, and sound by Gregory Clarke.

For the National's production of Fela!, which will begin performances on November 8, the full company will include Sahr Ngaujah, recreating his Broadway role as Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, with Rolan Bell alternating the role at certain performances, along with Paulette Ivory and Melanie Marshall and, in the ensemble, Lydie Alberto, Jonathan Andre, Cindy Belliot, Nandi Bhebhe, Ricardo Coke Thomas, Kwame Peter Crentsil, Scarlette Douglas, Jacqui Dubois, Poundo Gomis, Jazmine Jarret Thorpe, Aisha Jawando, Wanjiru Kamuyu, Sherinne Kayra Anderson, Nyron Levy, Ira Mandela Siobhan, Shelley-Ann Maxwell, Tamara McKoy Patterson, Catia Moto da Cruz, Pamela Okoroafor, Thierry Picaut, Jermaine Rowe, and Craig Stein.

The complete cast of Josie Rourke's Men Should Weep, which will begin performances on October 18, in anticipation of an official opening on October 26 will be Ben Adams, Mark Armstrong, Sally Armstrong, Thérèse Bradley, Robert Cavanah, Morven Christie, Joseph Creeth, Anne Downie, Karen Dunbar, Isabelle Joss, Sarah MacRae, Conor Mannion, Jayne McKenna, Louise Montgomery, Chloe Pirrie, Pierce Reid, Sharon Small, and Lindy Whiteford.
