Oliver Cotton, Ian McKellen, Michael Pennington, et al. Set for The Syndicate at Chichester

Final casting has been announced for Mike Poulton’s The Syndicate, to run July 21 – August 20 in Chichester Festival Theatre’s Minerva Theatre. Sean Mathias will direct the production.

The show, adapted from Eduardo De Filippo’s Il Sindaco Del Rione Sanita, looks at intrigues within the world of organized crime in Italy. The company will feature, as previously announced, Ian McKellen and MichaeI Pennington, along with Jane Bertish, Margaret Clunie, Philip Correia, Oliver Cotton, Mark Edel-Hunt, Gavin Fowler, David Foxxe, Annie Hemingway, Cherie Lunghi, Brendan O’Hea, David Shaw-Parker, Janet Spencer-Turner, Michael Stevenson and Michael Thomson.

The creative team will include production designer Angela Davies, lighting designer Tim Mitchell, sound designer Fergus O’Hare, and composer Jason Carr.
