Reduced Shakespeare Company to Play Kennedy Center in June

Reduced Shakespeare Company (RSC) will perform The Complete World of Sports (abridged) and Completely Hollywood (abridged) in repertory in the Terrace Theatre at the Kennedy Center, running June 21 to July 3. Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor have written and directed the productions.

In Hollywood, the RSC takes on Tinsletown, presenting 175 greatest films from Hollywood’s over 100-year history in one evening. In World of Sports, the group distills the entire history of athletic competition in less than two hours.

The Reduced Shakespeare Company is a three-man comedy troupe that has created seven stage shows, including The Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged) , The Complete History of America (abridged) , The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged) , and All the Great Books (abridged). Additionally they’ve written and appeared in two television specials and made numerous radio appearances.
