Court Theatre has announced the plays that will comprise its 2011-2012 season.

The year will begin with George C. Wolfe's Spunk, an adaptation of three stories by Zora Neale Hurston, to be presented in September, and will also include Lisa Peterson and Denis O'Hare's An Iliad (November 10 - December 11), adapted from Homer's epic as translated by Robert Fagles, directed by Charles Newell, and featuring Timothy Edward Kane; and Oren Jacoby's adaptation of Invisible Man (January 12 -February 19), which focuses on a young African American's search for his identity, to be directed by Christopher McElroen.

In addition, the theater will produce Tony Kushner's Angels in America (March 30 - June 3). Newell will also direct this two-part, Pulitzer Prize winning epic about the early years of the AIDS epidemic.
