Pretty Woman Debuts New Bryan Adams Song

The new musical opens at Chicago’s Oriental Theatre tonight.

Pretty Woman: The Musical, written by Bryan Adams, Jim Vallance, Garry Marshall, and J.F. Lawton, opens tonight, March 28, at Chicago's Oriental Theatre. To celebrate, the production, inspired by the film of the same title, has released a first look at one of Adams and Vallance's brand-new songs, "You and I." Check it out below.

Heading the company are Samantha Barks and Steve Kazee as Vivian and Edward. They are joined by Orfeh (Kit), Jason Danieley (Philip Stuckey), Eric Anderson (Mr. Thompson), and Kingsley Leggs (James Morse).

With an original score by Grammy winner Adams and Vallance, the musical features a book by Marshall and the film's screenwriter, J.F. Lawton. The production will feature scenic design by David Rockwell; costume design by Gregg Barnes; lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Philip S. Rosenberg; sound design by John Shivers; hair design by Josh Marquette; and music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Will Van Dyke. Jerry Mitchell directs and choreographs.
