Kokandy Productions Presents Tomorrow Morning
The musical begins performances tonight.
Twentysomething couple John and Kat are preparing for a big day ahead of them. Older couple Jack and Catherine also have the consequences of a big decision looming. As the young pair gets ready to marry, the other two are about to sign their divorce papers. Separated only by time, all four must ask themselves if they truly are doing the right thing. With impending change, uncertainty comes up against the redeeming power of love.
John D. Glover helms the production, which features book, music, and lyrics by Laurence Mark Wythe. Making up the cast are Carl Herzog as Jack, Teressa LaGamba as Catherine, Tina Naponelli as Kat, and Neil Stratman as John.
"Tomorrow Morning is both heartwarming and heartbreaking," said Glover. "This show really speaks to anyone who has ever been in a relationship, to have one end when they thought it would last forever, and for anyone who has ever contemplated sharing their life with someone else. It is about how tiny moments can become huge, and no matter how strong a relationship once seemed, life can quickly make it as fragile as a flower."
The creative team includes Kory Danielson (music direction), and Cameron Turner (choreography), Ashley Ann Woods (set design), Bob Kuhn (costume design), Cat Wilson (lighting design), Mike Patrick (sound design), Johnny Buranosky (props design), and Kait Samuels (stage manager).
Performances will run through August 28.
