Ben Carlson, Deborah Hay, Sean Fortunato Set for Chicago’s The School for Lies

Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) has announced full casting and creative team for the Midwest premiere of David IvesThe School for Lies. The show, which transforms Moliere’s classic into a modern, comical satire brimming with contemporary slang, runs December 4-January 20 at CST’s Courtyard Theater.

Barbara Gaines helms a cast that includes Ben Carlson (Frank), Deborah Hay (Celimene), Greg Vinkler (Oronte), Sean Fortunato (Philinte), Kevin Gudahl (Acaste), Heidi Kettenring (Eliante), Paul Slade Smith (Clintander) and Samuel Taylor (Dubois/Basque).

Creative team includes scenic designer Dan Ostling, costume designer Susan Mickey, lighting designer Philip Rosenberg, sound designer Lindsay Jones, wig and makeup designer Melissa Veal, and properties master Chelsea Meyers.
