Mean Girls Releases Music Video of Barrett Wilbert Weed's "I'd Rather Be Me"

The tune is written by Jeff Richmond and Nell Benjamin.

The Broadway production of Mean Girls has released a new video of star Barrett Wilbert Weed singing the anthemic "I'd Rather Be Me." Check it out below:

Now running at the August Wilson Theatre, Mean Girls features a book by nine-time Emmy Award winner Tina Fey, based on her screenplay for the film; music by three-time Emmy Award winner Jeff Richmond; and lyrics by two-time Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin. Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs.

The company is currently led by Erika Henningsen as Cady Heron, Taylor Louderman as Regina George, Ashley Park as Gretchen Wieners, Kate Rockwell as Karen Smith, Grey Henson as Damian Hubbard, Barrett Wilbert Weed as Janis Sarkisian, Kyle Selig as Aaron Samuels, Jennifer Simard as Mrs. Heron/Ms. Norbury/Mrs. George, Cheech Manohar as Kevin Gnapoor, and Rick Younger as Mr. Duvall.
