Come From Away has announced the details for the UK and Irish premieres of the Tony Award-winning hit Broadway musical. It will run at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin December 7-January 19, 2019, before opening at the Phoenix Theatre in London's West End on January 30, 2019.

Come From Away began performances on Broadway on February 18, 2017, in advance of a March 12 opening at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, and is currently in its second year, with a second production now running at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre and a third company set to launch in Australia in 2019 at Melbourne's Comedy Theatre. A 60-city North American tour will launch at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre on October 9. It is also set to be adapted into a feature film.

The show is written by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, and directed by Christopher Ashley. Set against the backdrop of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, the show follows what happens when 38 planes and 6,579 passengers are forced to land in Gander, Newfoundland, doubling the population of "one small town on the edge of the world." It was nominated for seven 2017 Tony Awards, winning one for Ashley's direction.
