Gregg Edelman, Karen Ziemba to Star in Penguin Rep Production of Steven Dietz’s Shooting Star

Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba and four-time Tony Award nominee Gregg Edelman star in Steven Dietz’s Shooting Star, to run July 9-August 1 at the Penguin Rep Theatre in Stony Point, New York.
Joe Brancato will direct the play, which focuses on two college friends who reunite unexpectedly in a snowed-in airport after 25 years.
Ziemba received the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance in Contact. She also received Tony Award nominations for her work in Steel Pier, Curtains, and Never Gonna Dance.
Edelman received Tony Award nominations for his performances in Into the Woods, 1776, Anna Karenina and City of Angels. His other Broadway credits include Wonderful Town, Passion and Cabaret.
The creative team will include Ken Larson (scenic design), Karen Kinsley (costume design), Martin E. Vreeland (lighting design), and Jack Kennedy (sound design).
