Mary Bridget Davies, Sabrina Elayne Carten Set for One Night with Janis Joplin at Arena Stage

Arena Stage is set to present One Night with Janis Joplin, September 28-November 4 in the Kreeger Theater. Writer Randy Johnson directs.

Produced in partnership with Cleveland Play House in association with Todd Gershwin and Daniel Chilewich, One Night with Janis Joplin is a musical journey into the life and inspirations of one of rock ‘n’ roll’s greatest legends.

Mary Bridget Davies will lead the cast as Janis Joplin. She will be joined by Sabrina Elayne Carten (Blues Singer), Laura Carbonell (Backup Singer /Janis Joplin Understudy), and Shinnerrie Jackson (Backup Singer/Blues Singer Understudy).

The design team will include Justin Townsend (set and lighting design), Jeff Cone (costume design), Carl Casella (sound design), Darrell Maloney (projection design), and Len Rhodes (musical arrangements).
