Dancing with the Stars‘ Mark Ballas to Join Burn the Floor Tour

Dancing with the Stars contestant Mark Ballas will join the Burn the Floor tour for engagements in Raleigh, NC (November 30-December 5); Houston, TX (December 14-19), and Pittsburgh, PA (December 28-January 2).

The show is created, directed, and choreographed by Jason Gilkison, and blends Latin and Ballroom dance. It was first conceived as a special performance at Sir Elton John’s 50th birthday celebration in 1997. Two years later, the show made its world premiere in the U.K., and it has since toured globally, including a Broadway engagement in 2009.

As previously reported, the fall portion of the tour also features So You Think You Can Dance alumni Anya Garnis, Pasha Kovalev, Ashleigh Di Lello, Ryan Di Lello, Robbie Kmetoni, Janette Manrara and Karen Hauer, as well as American Idol finalist Vonzell Solomon as the dance show’s female vocalist.

Ballas is currently partnered with Bristol Palin in this season’s Dancing with the Stars.
