Bon Jovi to Receive MTV Global Icon Award; The Circle Tour to Hit Movie Theaters on November 8

Rock supergroup Bon Jovi will receive the Global Icon award at MTV’s Europe Music Awards on November 7 in Madrid. The group will perform at the ceremony, which will be aired live on MTV websites.

In addition to lead singer Jon Bon Jovi, the group includes Tony Award winner David Bryan — who co-wrote the hit Broadway musical Memphis as well as The Toxic Avenger — as well as Richie Sambora and Tico Torres.

As previously reported, <>Bon Jovi-The Circle Tour, a film which shows the group’s four-night concert stand at the new Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey last May, will be shown at select theaters around the country on November 8.
