Christopher Sieber, George Hamilton, et al. to Star in National Tour of La Cage Aux Folles

Broadway veterans Christopher Sieber and George Hamilton will star in the national tour of La Cage Aux Folles, which will launch in October in Des Moines, Iowa.

The musical, with a book by Harvey Fierstein and music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, is directed by Terry Johnson, and features choreography by Lynne Page, scenic design by Tim Shortall, costume design by Matthew Wright, lighting design by Nick Richings, sound design by Jonathan Deans, and orchestrations by Jason Carr.

The cast will also feature Billy Harringtan Tighe, Bernard Burak Sheredy, Cathy Newman, Jeigh Madjus, Gay Marshall, Allison Blair McDowell, Dale Hensley, Ashley Kate Adams, Danny Vaccaro, Rylyn Juliano, Matt Anctil, Mark Roland, Donald Shorter, Jr., Trevor Downey, Logan Keslar, Terry Lavell, Todd Thurston, Todd Lattimore, Christophe Caballerro, and SuEllen Estey.

Sieber, who will play Albin, played Georges in the recent Broadway revival of La Cage Aux Folles opposite Harvey Fierstein. His other Broadway credits include Monty Python’s Spamalot, Shrek the Musical, Chicago, and Triumph of Love.

Hamiton, who will play Georges, appeared on stage in Chicago. His many fillm and television credits include Where the Boys Are, Evel Knievel, Love at First Bite, and Dynasty.
